Maybe it's an old mark? Not like his current shino glazed pieces; like more like an ash glaze. His current mark has raised letters where as yours are indented

Nice pieces. I wonder what the whole future of wood firing is going to be? There seem to fewer and fewer such potters about. It is certainly harder work than other firing methods. Equally one wonders how future climate change policies will effect the process.

They say it’s carbon neutral because they’re only releasing what the trees have grown in recent times, rather than using electricity and gas from fossil fuels. But it depends on where you live; potters in towns and cities are limited to gas and electric. But there are now anagama kilns like Oxford and Kigbeare for communal firing.
