Mystery art deco era bowl Empty Mystery art deco era bowl

It has a mark but is so pale and blurred that i cant make it out. I'm pretty sure it says Made in England.
Any ideas?

Stylewise yes, but that's not like any Shorter mark that I've seen previously.
I wondered if it could be Myott Son & co

I'm sure I have seen this simple mark before on these types of wares.
Shorter & sons, Stoke on Trent, Made in England.
