I think it says ?????? CERAMIC ENGLAND. (I've made it as high contrast as possible)

I was thinking it looked very similar to Cinque Ports styling. But obviously wasn't CP.

An interesting pottery history. They later morphed into Grayshott pottery, which also bought Dart pottery in 2006. Various sorts of connections with other older potteries in the area,
