I have a nice bowl which I am struggling to identify the maker. It is approximately 5in in height and 8.75in rim to rim. Inside the bowl and in a band round the foot of the bowl is a very distinctive brown inside the blue. The glaze has run over the mark which is difficult to read or photograph. My best guess is a very tentative KG.

We need a photo of the base too. Is the mark on the base?

Thanks very much for that and the Mike Pollard information. I am still puzzled why there seem to be so many of his pots in Leicestershire.

Maybe he had an outlet there. tbh, His work was mostly functional tableware so there's a lot of it about.
Just checked and he's not in the marks book so he may have potted in various parts of the country in the latter half of the 20thC
