An extremely well-made pot which to my eyes looks like a huge egg cup, large enough for a goose egg. There's a slight ledge on the inside of the rim which makes me think it might be missing a lid.
I think that the potting is too crisp and precise for an amateur piece.
Signed 'CRIS' to the base.

I think a professional would have smoothed the rim and reduced the foot
