Incised JW perhaps

I feel like I have tried all the letters that this could represent but I must be missing something.

Certainly looks like JW but the style is similar to Kate Weaver’s work and she signs it in a similar manner

Seems to fit style-wise, and not too far geographically to where I bought it. I also have a jug and sugar bowl that we use, all look like a J so that's a puzzle! Thank you.
