Swirl-decorated pot, imp. SL and P?????? Empty Swirl-decorated pot, imp. SL and P??????

A nice and chunky pot, 10" high and the same at its widest point. The marks are a very clear 'SL' and a frustratingly indistinct word beginning with 'P'.
Any ideas?

I believe it’s Pailton Pottery. Usually the name is inscribed, and found one with an SL monogram, don’t know who SL is yet, though
