Candle Holder Empty Candle Holder

I found this large and (extremely) heavy candle holder recently, but have drawn a blank when searching for info. It has the look of Blenko to me, but could just as easily be a more recent piece. Any help appreciated.

Looks similar to a piece I have made by Galway Crystal in Ireland

Looks a dual purpose piece to me, tealight candle holder and cigar ashtray.
