Possibly Helen Pincombe, although I've only seen her stamped mark
There was a similar mark by The Haven Pottery, but the handwriting on this one is different, and the decoration is more like Pincombe's work

I do not think it is Helen Pincombe. She was a very precise sort of person, and her mark never seems to have changed throughout her career.
Ann and Theodore Whalley of Haverfordwest pottery used several versions of an HP mark in the 60's. The pieces of their work I have seen are somewhat in this sort of Leach type style. So it might well be theirs.

I think it might be Haven Pottery rather than Haverfordwest. There's a similar bud vase on ebay, atm, which is listed as Haverfordwest, but has the Haven Pottery stamp -

Ebay sellers are not a reliable guide on the HP mark!

Thank you both! Hmm, seems like it could be any of them. Thank you, lovely little piece nonetheless :)

I've edited the title to include 'probably' because it's not an exact match, and the clay is a bit gritty compared to the Haven pieces

Confirmed that it was made by David Lemon at The Haven Pottery, Burnham-on-Sea, near Highbridge, Somerset. Now retired.
He employed several potters so only those pieces with the DL monogram were definitely made by him
