Authentic LC Tiffany Vase? Empty Authentic LC Tiffany Vase?

I came across this beautiful favrile vase. It is marked "L.C. Tiffany Favrile" on the foot. But I have my doubts about the authenticity of the mark. I've never seen a Tiffany vase in this style. It is 6.5" tall and is quite heavy for its size - 1 lb 7 oz. Is this actually a LC Tiffany vase?
