Hi - I am trying to identify the artist of this small painting which does have some age to it looking at the back.  I think it is signed as shown in the 2nd photo but it is not clear and I am not sure if I am imagining that this is an actual signature.  Does anyone recognise the unusual style where the painting is in blocks or sections.  Any help or advice would be appreciated.  I would prefer not to remove the painting from its frame but I appreciate this may have some information.
