HO is Hill-Ousten, a 1950s pottery wholesaler.
There are many Denby pieces made for HO, including wall ducks, but as I
remember the HO ones were white clay, matt, with a flat even back, and marked
with a black ink stamp.

It could well be by Bretby, as they made items for Hill Ousten.
