Hi, would love some help identifying the potter of this piece please. It's 5 inches tall and 7.5 in diameter. Quite heavy and solid. The impressed mark is VM. Studio Pottery Type Piece Marked VM 20200111

Striking piece but I'm not finding it in the Marks book. Maybe French/N.European? Or one of our unrecorded 70s potters in the UK
