I spotted this pitcher because of the solid and hefty nature of it. Seemed different, more substantial then anything around it. An actual utilitarian piece... so now I am trying to get an idea of how old or where abouts it might have been made? Ideas?

It weighs 4.7lbs and stands about 10" tall.
