Japanese, imo. The rabbit is a traditional Japanese motif. I don’t know if it signifies any particular kiln or region. Could be 19thC or earlier.
I’m guessing it’s going brown because the restorer covered the plate with a varnish which isn’t stable under UV light

but Ming could it really be that old
