Hi There Unusual Dartington Kensington??? Small Wine Glasses

I recently purchased this set from a charity as fell for the shape :)
However i once owned a set Dartington Kensington glasses and feel
that these maybe a from that suite in the dartington book i own it
shows three sizes of the Kensington suite but the smallest two sizes
are not in the pictures i'm wondering if these are one of the smaller
sized versions which are not in the book? Now there is a small question
of the design of the rim on this glass being different from the ones in shot
i'm wondering maybe these are a different design or a trial type of glass
would love to hear any views on them please they are quite petite at 5"
tall they have the Dartington foot and exact same knop as the Kensingtons

Hi. I believe you mean Knightsbridge and here is the range in full. I doubt your piece is a drinking glass. I recommend joining Dartington Collectors page on Facebook, there are some original glass blowers from the factory on there and they may be able to help. On this piece above is the rim fire rounded?

Hi RVsaid, Really sorry for delay been flat out quite difficult to tell on the rim under a very strong loop i can make out diagonal markings maybe from polishing etc but it's also quite smooth certainly slightly smoother
than you would expect if it were say ground flat and then had the corners removed if that makes sense :)
There certainly large enough for say a small beverage and strange that i purchased six together?

Hey no problems. Looking at the base rim there's an unusual line around it. The Dartington page will let you know but I would think that they are by another company which either influenced Dartington or were influenced by them. I wonder if they were flame topped drinks?
