Emmanuel cooper??

Hi All,

I'm new to this and apologies already if I've done this wrong. Im just seeing if anyone knows who this mark is? I have got a pottery book and closes I've found is Emmanuel cooper.

Any other suggestions would be greatly received.

I’m not sure I’m seeing his distinctive E stamp. It would help to have a photo of the whole of the base. Is there a footrim? It looks like stoneware rather than his usual porcelain, and I’d expect the stamp to be in the middle rather than on the edge

Cheers. Comparing it with Cooper’s mark I don’t think it’s right; it might be a W. And the brown glaze round the outside doesn’t look right either; his reputation was based on his glaze experiments and bright glazes. But others will know better than me.

he did do some stoneware/earthenware - but he normally has 2 marks... But he did also change marks...

The ends of the mystery letter in the stamp curl round, which Cooper’s didn’t. In some angles it looks more like a G or EG monogram
