8” plate, hand decorated, iron glaze?
Mark is Grayshott and initials- is it JR for Joy Real? .
What date might it be as she was there from 1956 - 1994

All I can say is “Possibly” by Joy Real, but you’d need to ask Mick Dixon, who’s now at Bartley Heath Pottery, to be sure

That's a good one. I've had a few Grayshot plates, nothing like this at all, but all with fabulous glaze decoration.
I imagine this must be quite a rare one, nice piece.

Nice but not a fashionable pottery, so rare but cheap.

Sorry, mine were Greystoke Gill, a bit of a difference Doh!
Yes, isn't almost everything going cheap nowadays. The pottery scene wasn't doing that well anyway, but with all of this Brexit uncertainty around it seems to have dipped again, unless you have something really special.
I remember seeing a pile of Leaper plates on ebay a year or so back, I think they made around £15 or so if I remember rightly.
