Adrian Brough, St Ives, Cornwall

Adrian James Brough was born in Brixham, Devon, in  1962 - the son of Alan Brough. He moved to Cornwall at the age of seven when his father started at the Leach Pottery and was educated at St Ives and nearby Lelant where he now lives.

Struggling a little with this Studio Bowl

Signature looks like Adrian Brough from Leiant St Ives
But the Tresco is throwing me as there is Tresco Channel Islands
Unless this is a piece titled Tresco  

Any help would be appreciated

Certainly Adrian Brough’s monogram. Can’t explain why Tresco is written on it too. You’d have to ask him.

'Ceramic artist Adrian Brough was enlisted to design and lay the tile flooring of the Shell House and was commissioned to tile the backdrop of the pizza oven in the Ruin Beach Cafe'

I have contacted Adrian and he has confirmed he did some work for Dorian- Smiths on Tresco for a short while
And he said that these were potentially quite rare. Either way looks great on my table
