Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can help me date this piece of Wedgwood pearl ware/creamware please ?
It is impressed simply with WEDGWOOD and P and to my untrained eyes I’d guess at early 19th C , but can’t find anything online to confirm this .
I’d be very grateful for more definitive info, thanks!

If you could find what the crest on the dish refers to, I suspect that would be useful.
If you have no luck on here, you could try the British Pottery and Porcelain discussion group on Facebook. It's a closed group so you have to be approved before you post but their knowledge of early stuff is incredible.

It might be a Liver bird, with L for Liverpool.

As an update , thought I’d share a little bit of info I stumbled upon tonight.
Apparently the design is known as ‘Etruscan’ and dates circa 1790, apparently Dumfries House in Scotland has a large collection of it there!
It was made in 3 colour ways , red , yellow and (I think) green , with yellow being the rarest .
Obviously mine is the red variant .
So for now my research is over.
