Ginger jar - any interesting information in the mark? Empty Ginger jar - any interesting information in the mark?

A friend has this ginger jar - does not think it is very old (late 20th century) but would be interested to know if anything can be learned from the mark.

Reads: Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi - "Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made"

1733-1735 seems a bit unlikely though doesn't it? (If Wikipedia is giving the right information about Qianlong period!) It doesn't feel to have any great age to it.

The mark will not date the piece; they are just used as a ‘homage’ to the tradition of ceramics in the country. Likely to be first half of the 20thC from the style of the decoration

It's quite a pretty thing - but I'm surprised it is even that old.

Well it’s guess work tbh. Depends on how much wear and rubbing of the gold overlay there is
