Tenmoku bowl by Winchcombe pottery Empty Tenmoku bowl by Winchcombe pottery

A lovely bowl, nice tenmoku glaze which seems very well controlled to my eyes. The mark looked like Winchcombe, until I put my specks on. The line through the P looks like a curve, as opposed to a W. Any ideas gratefully received.

It certainly doesn't resemble a W though and the stamp looks to have been firmly impressed, to my eyes at least.

I think it’s one of the newer stamps. Everyone makes and uses their own stamp so there is some variation between them. This looks like an apprentice piece tbh

I like it, other than the fact that someone used it to hold keys or change, scratched to high heaven, unfortunately.
