Small ceramic 'thing' - can anyone identify please? Empty Small ceramic 'thing' - can anyone identify please?

This is rather nicely decorated with a subdued picture of (I think) a bird on a branch which holds fruit and has crazing throughout.
It is only just over 3" (just under 8cm) in diameter.
There is a single mark on the base.
Does anyone recognise what it is and/or the maker/date?

It looks Japanese influenced but the finish looks more like studio ware. Maybe a candle stand

Yep, my thoughts exactly on both counts...or maybe a chopstick holder. I couldn't see anything in Fournier.
