A nice trip to Cirencester today. I have quite a few mugs so I picked up another one for 50p! The only similar mark I can find is in my Godden and the potter did some studio type pottery. However I cant find any more details about her work.  Mystery mug, rb mark? RS mark? cf. Edith Galliner Sam_8511

I’m just seeing an X rather than Galliner ‘s mark

Looking to the left of the first photo there is a definate down stroke the second photo shows the loop. Mystery mug, rb mark? RS mark? cf. Edith Galliner Img_0814

I’ve seen the mark before (below) but I dont think it’s the same as  Edith’s one; the book says her marks were incised
