Clarice Cliff Style Vase. Unidentified Pottery Mark.

This 7.7 cm in height porcelain vase has been decorated with the iconic Clarice Cliff inspired 'Red Roofs' pattern executed in vibrant bold colours, probably, with one of the 'wax resist' techniques (please see the pictures).
The 'rising sun' pottery mark is similar to those on standard Japanese export wares but lacks any other identifiers. The pieces with this particular mark were shown in one of the BBC programmes about Clarice Cliff's reproductions many years ago, but, unfortunately. I cannot recollect the details.
Please help to identify the manufacturer.

I think a Japanese copy is most likely but I’m afraid I don’t recognise the mark. The design looks hand painted rather than wax resist
