It is well made and someone ought to be proud enough to mark it but it doesn't ring any bells as to the maker. However, I would be happy to say that it isn't Cardew or Casson.

I think it’s more likely to be by a 60s-70s potter like Laurie Short or Hugh West, but without a mark we’ll probably never know.

I wonder about Derek Emms? He did a lot of teapots. Also worked at Leach pottery. Or Arthur Griffiths, who worked at Crowan and the Leach pottery.

Hugh West, Mike Labrum, Russell Collins, Don Glanville  and early Simon Rich are also possible.

Yes I would agree Laurie Short, Spout, handle and lid, + clay glaze and decoration are all typical of his 1980s - ish work
