Scandinavian? Stoneware mug, incised grasses, blue glaze, wheat ear
Fat bellied stoneware cup, well made, coarse body, blue/ browns glaze. Upper panel unglazed and incised with grasses.
Mark on base is painted, indistinct - possibly ES 198 or SS198.
Scandinavian springs to mind because of the fairly coarse clay and the number but ....
