Re: thrown clock
While it is bloomin difficult to tell the time from it, I don't really think it is bad enough to throw it away Dan.....

Re: thrown clock
Given the fact you have had no reply Dan.Apart from my joke. The description would probably be the dreaded 'Hobby Potter'....Basically the Curse of doom.
The mark is unidentifiable. The only 'thrown' part is that central core. The rest is fairly poor. Plus the fact if a professional potter is going to the expense of making a clock, he makes a good job of it, and expects a fairly decent return. Part of the 'decent job' is doing a clockface This had not got one. Who wants to guess the time by the rough position of the hands?

Re: thrown clock
Undersold. mmmm… Well the answer to that of course is to sell it! Ebay of course being the arbiter of all value in ceramics. And I have mental scars to
prove it!

Re: thrown clock
I’ve come across several spiral stamps but mostly they are decoration - see example by Gwynneth Rixon Ceramics in the link. I suspect it’s a one off which is why it’s proving difficult to find the potter
