The point about Andrew Hazelden one tends to forget, is that he was at Aldermaston a very long time. He started in 1984, and the pottery actually closed in 1993 as an apprentice type pottery. But he actually continued working there as a potter in his own right until Alan Caiger Smith finally closed and sold the pottery in 2007.

Aldermaston lidded jam pot with a signature that I can't see on the decorators list. Initials look like ABH so could it be Anne Blakiston-Houston, 1961-2? I can't find any examples of her mark to compare. Additionally anyone know what the smaller  'a' shaped mark with a dot is?

Funny large owl jug. This came from Adrian (Thanks Adrian) probably ten years ago.

It's not quality but the owl  Shocked just makes me laugh  Big Laughter

Hi - I have this Aldermaston Pottery bowl and whilst the mark is similar to Alan Caiger-Smith I am not 100% sure so I am hoping someone can either confirm or advise who else this is?

The marks are a bit splodged, but it looks to be Andrew Hazelden's mark,
similar to, and often confused with ACS's mark.

I’ve pulled some of his pieces off the Aldermaston thread; ones which I think he made after Aldermaston Pottery officially closed, although he and several ex-Aldermaston potters were still using the building in the early 2000s
