Any reason that you think German, most German stuff I have seen is assiduously marked - not to say it isn't German though but its not looking German to me - but I am often wrong in these things!

It looks very similar to Adrian Harding & Mike Palmer's work at Northumbrian Craft Pottery

I purchased it at Sunbury Antiques market from a dealer who lives in Germany and said he believes it to be German. I purchased a few pieces of glass, a west german piece and this.
