Can anyone help me to identify the area of origin of bowl shown here and maker. It has a slipware flower design and reminds me of Devon ware. The name has a Y at the end but I am unable to decipher the rest. many thanks

Swiss Thoune or Bulgarian/Hungarian, maybe. Or Ubeda, Spain

Maybe a bit pale for Thoune, but could the word end in .....OKAY? Hungarian would
seem a good bet.

I think the stamp underneath is a name - perhaps the name of the potter. If it is then I think I see "Ysa" which is short for Ysanne, Ysanna, Ysane, Ysana and Ysabel ... its originally Hebrew! Laughter
