Italian or English? Rectangular flower basket dish Empty Italian or English? Rectangular flower basket dish

Very ornate 12” long rectangular dish, flowers in basket. Reminds me of an over the top Jersey piece but is it likely Italian. Impressed mark which I think is a 2 but could be something else.
