This is the third ceramic piece I have seen with this mark ... but who does it belong to?
I bought this one in France - and I do think that it is French. It stands 19cm high with a diameter of 12cm.
The HMV mark also has what appears to be a number 6.
Any clues will be very much appreciated.
Although this and the other piece bought with it are both heavily inscribed, the third piece is different in that it is slipware ... and very well done too ... so I may buy it! But I would love to know who the potter is.

By Hódmezővásárhely Keramik, Hungary. Sometimes attributed to Thoune, Switzerland
Just my personal opinion, take it or leave it.

WOW! Thanks NaomiM ... how on earth did you do that? (you don't have to answer that!)
