Gerry Harvey, Mead Pottery
Does anyone have an idea who this could be? it is rather basic... and i kinda like that about it..
Unfortunatley the way oit has been thrown a line disfures some of the mark but I think it's PM.. ?
I was wondering if it was Peter Mossop but he uses a round imprint and not a square one...
Thanks for any help..

We never fully Id'd this one, as the M has offset sharp points, whereas the book shows
the Ms are rounded and droopy.

That one is by Peter Mossop. I’ve just added the attribution.
However, it’s not the same mark as this one imo

No it's not the same mark, that's settled, but I can see 4 spurious dots in the top pic.
Re: Gerry Harvey, Mead Pottery
I think its more like the Mead (Gerry Harvey) pic in the Latest Mark's book... Think the dots aren't meant for by the potter...

Re: Gerry Harvey, Mead Pottery
Hello
This is Gerry Harvey's daughter and i came across this thread, so to clear up the questions about weather it is Mead Pottery or from Peter Mossop, I can confirm that the dish is indeed one of my fathers and very much his usual style of brushwork.
Hope that helps

Thanks very much for the info - I really love the free-ness of his brush strokes - it is rather lovely, thank you :)

Bless you, so glad be able to clarify, he was a true artist loved things simple and of the earth, and was deeply spiritual, he is now no longer with us so I treasure what he created ...

I think it's Mead pottery upside down.
