Angela Tain - leaf mark (cf. Susan Enderby)

Hi

Seems an Oak Leaf mark not a clam this time. Any thoughts, a few pieces floating around the net but potter unknown.

Might it be Wendy Fowler's work from the period 1982 to 1994?

It isn't something that I'm familiar with so can't be sure.

There’s one with birds on eBay attributed to Susan Enderby

Nothing like the pottery style either of the similar looking marks I can find online.  It is only a partial mark so I could have misinterpreted. Thank you for looking

5" Drip glaze pot with 2 impressed marks; a leaf and initials V.I. I initially thought of Angela Tain as the leaf is so similar but the V.I is throwing me.
Any ideas?

Could well be a date, but a bit vague if it is. No telling if it's day, month or year. Is it something you've seen before on Tain pieces?

It’s a very plain piece compared to the ones she adds mice and birds, etc, to. Maybe it’s an early piece or a set of vases of different sizes

I found this sweet little mug but am having a hard time figuring it out. The closest mark I can find is Angela Tain but the mark on my mug seems a little different. Any insight would be much appreciated!  Thanks

The mark could be Penny Simpson, Moretonhampstead, but I’ve not seen her do mouse pots before.

There are a number of similar leaf marks. My candidate would be Wendy Fowler who worked at various potteries in the 80's. The Mouse idea is slightly twee and is probably more likely made for a tourist or quick sale market.

I believe it’s by Angela Tain. Somewhere I have a pair of candlesticks with her mice on them


Edited to add, I've merged these posts as they're all by the same potter, but the ID is based solely on the mark in the Marks book and Susan Enderby has a similar mark. Not found one with a label yet so they may be by a different potter entirely.
