Any thoughts please on these cigarette? holders. 10.5 cms tall 8.5 cms wide, I think that they are cut rather than moulded.
Th condition is so good that they almost look new but guessing they are not
All thoughts much appreciated John

I could be wrong but I think they are new; maybe from one of the Polish glass companies or from China. I see a lot of ‘cut glass’ at the charity shops which are a mix of molded glass with molded faux-cuts, and unpolished cut highlights similar to yours. But there is also the true cut glass where the polished cut areas are real rather than molded and I think are early 20thC

I think that specific design is known as "Polish cut".

Hi I think Naomi is correct polish lead crystal I think the company is called zawiercie nice pieces cheap and cheerful lol

Thank you very much for pointing me in right direction, I had assumed that glassmakers would not nowadays be producing such items.
I was surprised that if they had been as old as I assumed they were in such good condition.
