Marked Bali and stamped 888 but I wonder what era it is from. I assume a Mid 20th Century tourist piece?

they have made the same designs in Bali for generations so it could be any date in the last 50 years but the wood doesn't look old

Nicely made. Many these days are nicely carved but not finished properly, so this one looks like a better quality piece. There are villages with master carvers who’ve passed the craft down the generations; maybe one of those
