Can anyone shed light on this PZH Gouda?
The only thing I have been able to identify is the date mark (triangle above vertical line) as being 1929.
The name of the design appears to be 'Roesel' - which in Dutch translates (google translate) as 'roasting'. But The capital R might be something else ... any ideas? (see pic)
The painters mark to the right of the Lazarus Gate seems to be 'Ro' or 'Po' ... again, I am not sure ... anyone fill me in?
... And as for the shape and style ... I have never seen one like this before. It is a magnificent piece, standing 35cm/14" ... but I would just love to get to know more about it.
Over to you ...
And thank you for reading this.
