It looks like it's a handmade piece but does the signature ring any bells with anyone? VM? Thanks

Iíve have a couple of these too but not managed to ID them. I thought it might be Margaret Leachís Wye Valley mark but itís probably not.

Would agree with Naomi. Moulded. No real talent in the slip decoration. An incised unknown signature. Basically 'hobby potter' is a polite let down. Could be anyone.
