From the glaze and form, Upchurch pottery in Kent comes to mind, Tho not too sure about that clay type. Those monotone glazes were popular in the inter war years.

The member is in the US so very unlikely to be Upchurch.

We do seem to be getting more US inquiries lately. But this would probably be one of the specialist US art potteries which I don't suppose many of us on here know too much about.
