Poole pottery

Post by Patrickb on May 15th 2018, 7:11 pm

Hi wondered if anyone knew anything on these. Came across it this afternoon and was labeled Poole pottery. Doesn't have any Poole mark and just a squiggle  for id.

those unmarked Millenium plates hit the market after Poole closed their doors the first time around, they were later bought out and re-launched

Ok so reasonable modern, notices the glaze was just beginning to show, so wondered if it was older. So kind of Poole. Have to say I quite like the boldness to it really.

Is there any link with Alan Clarke’s Millenium plates?

best stick to the ones marked with limited edition numbers as others are seconds sold to pay off the potteries debts I think
