Oriental Dish with marks on base
This 12 x 5 cm dish was found during the clearance of an elderly relatives property, Can anyone please assist in identifying the mark.

Looks like a Japanese dipping bowl; for soy sauce. I think it’s a fairly modern example but I could be wrong.

Thank you. I just wanted to be sure, as I would not have thought that this elderly lady would have bought such an item in recent years, but I may be wrong.

The patterns are printed rather than hand drawn but I’ll share it on a Japanese group just to be sure and get back to you.

The Japanese group said the mark is Juho (see photo below); likely to be a manufacturer’s name; the transfer printed decoration points to a factory rather than an individual potter. Made late 20thC
