2 unknown bowls, same potter
I bought these two bowls and wondered who the potter is. If anyone can help me I’d be very grateful. There’s also MMV on the base so I’m guessing they were made in 2005 though I don’t know obviously.

Welcome to the forum :)
Most potters in the UK are trained in the Leach tradition and use a stamp with their monogram to mark their pots. A handwritten mark points to a hobby potter or student. The foot also looks a bit unfinished, and the inclusion of a date or date code also points to a hobby potter (a professional potter, producing dozens of pots a day wouldn’t have time to write a date on all of them). Obviously there are exceptions, and foreign potters are far more likely to mark their pots this way. But I think on balance they are by a hobby potter, but still a nice matching pair :)
