ID lot of 6 marked ancient dishes
Hello,
I would like to identify this lot of 6 dishes, in my possession.
I find them very particular, because:
- 5 dishes out of 6 are marked,
- 3 are marked in gold and two others in blue
- the gold marks are the same, but they are different from the blue ones, and the blue ones are different from each other
Yet the dishes are the same, as are the paintings inside them
I can say that they are made by hand, the details are all different, and from the oxidation that I notice on the back, they seem rather ancient.
Thanks so much for your precious help
Gianluca

Closest i can find is Tournai, Belgium
Millers Pottery Porcelain Marks Pocket Fact File: Page 221
Tournai, Belgium
A porcelain factory was founded here in 1751 by F.J.Peterinck under the patronage of the empress Maria Theresa. In 1800 it was taken over by the de Bettignies family who continued it until 1850. Pieces were made in the style of Sevres and Meissen. This complicated arrangement of crossed swords and tiny crosses was used on porcelain between 1756 and 1781.

Wow Tigerchips thanks so much for your great help, you really id them, I was becoming crazy, finally I've a point of strength.
One question if possible:
By your point of view why
the gold marks are the same, but they are different from the blue ones, and the blue ones are different from each other?
We can date all of them between 1756 and 1781 and all of them Tournai?
Btw they all have same drawings and I reached them together in one lot.
What do you think about it?
Thanks so much in advance

Re: ID lot of 6 marked ancient dishes
Perhaps they were painted differently because the painter used the last colour that he use to paint the front of the plate. Not sure.

Ahhhh yes, this could be the reason, gold logo when he completed the gold painting, and blue logo when he completed the blue painting.
Thanks again for your time :-)
