Hi Naomi - I've seen quite a lot of these over the years and are regularly on ebay - I have one exactly the same shape but in dark blue grey - first time however I have seen one in a different colour to dark blue though - Likely to be a factory piece for functiona use... but yours a lot more decorative

Unfortunately Butter and cheese dishes are like casserole pots; lots made to a limited number of designs, and most unmarked.
