Can anyone help identify this rather Alien looking Pod Vase. Marked A.W. 88 ??

Well the obvious name is Alan Wallwork but doesn’t look like his handwriting and I don’t recall him dating anything, so needs more research

Thought the same Naomi.
But the signature is not right. The W is much more pointed in his work. Never seen one dated. Never seen that style, and the join is just nothing like he does. Its just not at all elegant looking. Be amazed if it was Alan Wallwork.

You're right - hink its more interesting/scary than elegant - I've a few Wallworks and apart from perhaps the colouring bears no resemblance to the work of his i've seen, certainly not he mark (which looks quite amateurish)..
