A beautiful sea themed bowl, china clay? Id help please

Bought an eye-catching bowl at auction last week. Spent the entire weekend every which way trying the identify what it is, what it is made of and who made it. Frustratingly drawn a blank.
It's approx 14" across and made from a white material I am assuming is a clay. Made from discs and is unglazed on the underneath revealing a patchwork design.
Inside are lots of shells etc, green and brown lustre glaze. The fish in the bottom is all hand painted.
The whole thing is faintly crazed on the surface.
Underneath is a monogram and the remains of a gold sticky label.
The bowl has a has a nice ring when tapped.
Any info would be marvellous.
Thank you.

The way that the bowl is made looks very amateurish but the painted decoration and the raised decoration around it look extremely well done. That leads me to think that it likely to have been made by someone better known as an artist than a potter.

Yes it looks like it has been made from pieces of clay or whatever. I actually think it may have been made inside another vessel as the base is rounded not flat or with a foot. It rocks slightly.
