Mystery Panda figurine
Inscribed mark on the base. I think it's JT . Doesn't seem to be the usual suspects - Ark, Animal Friends, Paula Humphris...

That lumpy white lava glaze - could it be Tessa Fuchs mark?

Re: Mystery Panda figurine
That would be nice :) But I can't make the inscribed mark look like a TF monogram

Re: Mystery Panda figurine
I agree with Crawford. I have owned a couple of animals by Tessa Fuchs with the same mark.
A lovely piece that is worth hanging onto, in my opinion.

You are welcome, it makes a nice change to feel like I have contributed something
It is gorgeous, I love her work and very much regret parting with what I had, but needs must & all that.

Re: Mystery Panda figurine
Thank's for the heads up, I am watching them now.
Still good value for money and a way to go on the price yet, me thinks!
Lovely things and an excellent investment as her work will only ever become even more appreciated with time, in my opinion.

Re: Mystery Panda figurine
To be honest I'm not convinced the Panda is Fuchs, style seems not quite right and the marks I have seen on her animals were usually sprigged.

Re: Mystery Panda figurine
Cheers, but I'm with Potty. I think her animals are far more styalized than this panda

Here's a little something to add to the mix:

I had a good look at this piece in person, similar to your panda, in so much as it is not styalized (like the figures on ebay) and very similar to a couple of other pieces I once owned, which both shared a near identical mark to the one on the panda.

Re: Mystery Panda figurine
Cheers, now I'm actually wondering if it's LLL mark for Lyn Lovitt
