BARNABY POWELL / WHITEFRIARS 1930s AMBER SMOKED GLASS DECANTER ???
THOUGHT THIS HAND-BLOWN 1930s GLASS BOTTLE WITH STOPPER COULD BE A POWELL PIECE BUT CAN'T FIND ANY REFERENCE ONLINE... ANYONE HELP WITH IDENTIFICATION PLEASE? THANKS.

While the general shape is not untypical of Whitefriars, I can't see this exact
design in either of the books, though they produced many decanters.
The colour though, looks a bit odd. They didn't usually do smokey glass.

It is a bit of a mystery... Think we're right on date (1930s) does have a mild art deco styling, especially the stopper. I did think B. Powell & Co. because of clean scooped pontil... Could it be Scandinavian? Also, is it 'smokey' glass or just a pale colour? Any difference?

Could this be a Simon Gate design for Orrefors?
