ID This plate please

Can anybody help with this plate? Any information would be appreciated. I've tried googling the signature mark on the back but come up with nothing. Thank you!!

I think it's a place, maybe in Spain or Portugal

My first impression would be Portugese - it reminded me of some of the Secla pottery colours
